Andrea Lissoni.
London's Tate Modern has named Andrea Lissoni its curator of film and international art. He will take up the post in March 2014. Curator at Milan's Pirelli HangarBicocca since 2011, Lissoni will continue in that role until 2015. Stuart Comer was Tate's curator of film and is now chief curator of media and performance at New York's Museum of Modern Art.
"I'm really happy to be joining the staff at Tate Modern in London, while also being able to continue my work with HangarBicocca, curating the exhibitions until 2015. The two posts will allow me to contribute both to the activities of one of the most prestigious institutions in the world of art and to those of an Italian institution which, partly as a result of its international outlook, I am proud to say has become a leading player in Italy and abroad," said Lissoni in a press release.

The Milan-born Lissoni has curated exhibitions at HangarBicocca of artists including Céleste Boursier-Mougenot, Wilfredo Prieto, Tomás Saraceno, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Mike Kelley and Ragnar Kjartansson. He has also been a lecturer at the Brera Academy since 2001 and at Bocconi University since 2007.
